Here are the classes that will be available for the Winter/Spring Semester:

MONDAYS:
10:00 am - General Art (3rd-6th grade) - 1 hr/$15 - 3 openings
11:30 am - General Art (3rd-6th grade) - 1 hr/$15 - 1 opening
1:00 pm - Open Studio (7th-12th grade) - 2 hrs/$25 - FULL
4:00 pm - General Art (3rd-6th grade) - 1 hr/$15 - 1 opening

TUESDAYS:
1:00 pm - Model Horse Class (7th-12th grade) - 2 hr/$25 - FULL
3:30 pm - Open Studio Class (7th-12th grade) - 2 hr/$25 - FULL

THURSDAYS:
10:00 am - General Art (3rd-6th grade) - 1 hr/$15 - 1 opening
11:30 am - Intro to Art (7th-12th grade) - 1 hr/$15 - 3 openings
1:00 pm - Advanced Art (7th-12th grade) - 1.5 hr/$20 - 4 openings

In-Person Small Art Classes:

Miss Amy offers small art classes in her home studio located in Richland, WA. Classes are available year round with a summer session (June - August); a fall session (September - December); and a winter/spring session (January - May). Each class is limited to four students which allows students to work at their own pace, and receive additional one-on-one as needed. Miss Amy values each student, and provides a safe environment where a student can confidently grow in his/her art skills.

Miss Amy offers the following classes:

*General Art Class (K-2nd grade & 3rd-6th grade) - 1 hour class - $15/class - Students will learn the elements of art/principles of design through a variety of mediums. The goal is to learn the foundations of art and be introduced to a wide variety of art styles/mediums. I will provide all supplies. Limit four students.

*Intro to Art Class (7th - 12th grade) - 1 hour class - $15/class - This class is for students who are beginners in art and/or who have not learned the foundations of art. We will be learning the elements of art and principles of design through a variety of mediums/styles.  I will provide all supplies. Limit four students.

*Advanced Art Class  (7th-12th grade) - 1.5 hour class - $20/class - This class is for students who have learned the foundations, and want to focus on growing their art skills. We will be using a variety of mediums.  I will provide all supplies. Limit four students.

*Open Studio Class (7th-12th grade) - 2 hour class - $25/class - This class is for students who work well independently. Students can choose the project/medium they want to work on, and I will provide all the supplies and teach/assist as needed. This class allows for a lot of creativity! Limit four students.

*Model Horse Class (7th-12th grade) - 2 hour class - $25/class - Students will learn how to repair and/or repaint model horses. This includes learning how to use a Dremel and airbrush tools.  I will provide all supplies. Limit four students.

Siblings receive a $5 discount.
Students who sign up for multiple classes receive a $5 discount.

 

Zoom Private Lessons: FULL

 

Miss Amy offers one-on-one Zoom art lessons. These are available on a very limited basis. Each lesson is one hour long and will be scheduled once a week at the same day/time each week. The cost is $10/lesson, and is invoiced monthly. Parents will need to provide all the supplies. Please email Miss Amy at amy@rlb.org if you are interested or would like more information.

 

About the Instructor:

 Art Instructor Amy PirozokAs an accomplished artist and experienced youth art instructor, Amy Pirozok (Miss Amy) has a passion for teaching a variety of art skills to youth, encouraging them to discover their own ability to create as well as grow in confidence in their individual skills. Amy teaches both online Zoom and in-person art lessons and classes. On occasion, she will paint a commissioned pet portrait and/or mural. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her German Shepherd.

 

Amy’s passion for teaching art comes from the calling God has put on her life. She believes God has called her to raise up child artists to show God’s glory to the world. Only when you are doing what God has designed you to do, will you experience joy and peace.
